Origins Dance Championship was founded to showcase the various styles of the Indian classical arts on a unified platform. Our board hosts this championship every year to encourage the collegiate teams across the country that work day and night to maintain and advance the classical arts in this day and age. We believe that in every dancer and every audience member, there is an appreciation of the legacy of the oldest dance forms in South Asian history. This year, our championship’s proceeds will go towards supporting survivors of domestic violence in Texas and across the country.
