Houston Yellow River Arts Group established in 1996, is a group encompassing over sixty amateur singing enthusiasts from all walks of life in Houston, Texas.  We have performed various titled concerts at multiple venues throughout Texas.  Striving to make a contribution to the Chinese-US cultural exchange, the Houston Yellow River Arts Group not only brings to the stage traditional and contemporary Chinese folk songs, but also music from other cultures to the audience.  Under the current director Lily Tsang, the Houston Yellow River Arts Group has blossomed to become one of the leading and most sought after choir among the Chinese community in the greater Houston area.  In 2019, it became the proud recipient of Walt Disney Motif Award for Humanity National Music Tribute.  In 2022, it received the Community Service Awards from Stewart Title Company.
